You're right. It is a bit of a luxury to have your phone, TV, and Internet service on one bill. Cable companies aren't the only one's who bundle these service though. Phone companies do it as well, and one thing phone companies offer in a bundle that cable companies don't is cellular phone service. I've read that Comcast is looking into starting a cellular service, but it isn't available yet. Also, Verizon, a phone company, now offers FiOS or fiber optic service including TV, and 15Mbs download speeds.
